The Tobacco Harvest

Since I moved to Kentucky three years ago I have been trying to get some photos of a Tobacco field once it has turned golden yellow. We went out this weekend to see if there was a nearby field where I could finally get some shots, however, it was being harvested. The next field, my backup plan, had already been cut. So as we drove by the field that was being harvested I snapped some photos, wishing I had had some time to actually set things up the way I wanted. I remember last year I actually missed the harvest by one week, at least I have a few shots this time around.
Oh, and for the record… I don’t smoke and I don’t endorse smoking. I just think that Tobacco is a really beautiful plant, and it smells good up until the time it’s actually burned.
