A lot of people don't realize that I'm also an artist. I created this section of my site to show what I'm working on at the moment, whether it's 3D, generative art or something else. It looks a little... "sparse" at the moment, but as I bring more of my work to this site it should fill out a bit.
Color Scheming
I needed a quick way to show a set of colors as they would appear next to each other so I wrote this app.
Faded
This concept allows you to enter a hexadecimal value and see the surrounding colors. Pressing up, down, left or right will move you around the spectrum.
Text Mapping
For this project, I parsed the entire King James Version of the Bible and displayed it as a series of words. The darker the word, the more often that word is used in the text.
HTMLED
Based loosely on the concepts of Generative Art, thousands of “LEDs” were created in HTML and then styled with JavaScript and CSS to create these large, pixel-esque patterns.
Circles
Created in ActionScript 3. Roughly 100 circles randomly placed, sized and faded dynamically
